May 2013 - We chose this floorplan on a whim! We were set on a Barrington Floorplan. Like this:

We love this floor plan - it really suits our family needs but ultimately, for the same money we get more with this original:

We drove up to Oran Park town to check out the Barrington display again and chat with the salesperson who could not give us the answers we wanted on the day. On the way back I suggested to John that we stop and look at Beechwood as we never had. I instantly fell in love with the Bedarra. It is too wide for our block! We got chatting to a couple in the Verdehlo Four and they told us what changes they were making and how reasonable Beechwood were. I grabbed a copy of the floorplan and we havent looked at any other floorplans!
It was almost perfect for us. We wanted single storey, five bedrooms, master at the front, kids at the back and open kitchen/living/dining!
We requested a tender.
July
We paid our initial deposit as acceptance of tender.
September
We were told everything was ready to go to council. Yay. It's getting close, or so we thought.....
October
We were in and out of council within eight days. Five days later we signed contracts and chose all the important colours and accessories.
December
The all important commencement letter from our lender took six weeks! And we already had
preapproval! It was the longest six weeks of my life......
Christmas and new year was a long break of four weeks in the industry!
